Obama Receives Four Superdelegates, Clinton Zero
The superdelegates keep on coming–Obama lined up four new endorsements today, including Senator Daniel Akaka of Hawaii, a long time friend and ally of the Clintons. In addition, Obama received the endorsements of U.S. Senate candidate and current Congressman Tom Allen of Maine (who believes Obama’s coattails will be much stronger than Hillary’s), Hawaii superdelegate Dolly Strazer, and Idaho state Democratic chair Keith Roark.
That means that Obama only needs 150 more delegates to win the nomination.
