Will the Lakers Trade Kobe Bryant?
Bill Simmons suggests some trade possibilities for Kobe, including–get this–a trade to the Phoenix Suns. Simmons proposes a trade that sends Kobe to Phoenix for Marion, Barbosa, Marcus Banks, and a draft pick. Which means that Phoenix would have a starting lineup of:
Nash
Kobe
Raja Bell
Diaw
Amare Stoudemire
Wow. While I don’t thinks trade will materalize, […]

American Idol Finale Predictions: Are Producers Fixing Show for a Jordin Sparks Victory?
A so-so night on American Idol–I personally thought Blake did better overall with strong performances in his first 2 songs, though Jordin really nailed the last one.
Personally, it appeared to me that the judges and producers clearly fixed this finale to favor Jordin, especially with the choice of that last song that clearly […]

Apolo Anton Ohno Wins Dancing With the Stars
It’s official–Apolo won Dancing With the Stars tonight, and he deserved to win–both he and Julianne Hough were simply sensational this season. Ohno is a perfectionist, and him and Hough were thus strongest couple of any couple in the past 4 seasons, IMHO.
Ohno finished off in style, with a thrilling Paso Doble. It’s […]

(Here’s hoping that […]

Does the U.S., World Need an Al Gore Presidency?
IMHO, it’s time that all of us do our part and urge Al Gore to run for the office that he was duly elected to, the office that was effectively stolen from him, in 2000. Time magazine has a fantastic article this week showing just how popular Gore has become, that people everywhere are literally […]
